Yes indeed !!! the N8 is aimed at the beach angler who wants to fish extreme distances, so well over 100m, it is easy to say, I cast well over 100m but usually that is bitterly disappointing as soon as you start casting with baited lines and effectively measure how far you really cast.
That is exactly why the N8 is your ideal partner on the beach. Perhaps less common for our North Sea but it can certainly be a very nice addition to your equipment and will have a very positive effect on your fishing. In the southern areas, the use of such a boat is already somewhat more established.
The boat is equipped with a hook release so that you can sail your baited line out up to 500m. The GPS will certainly be able to assist you in this, just go to the beach when the water has completely receded (ebb), then you will see all the holes and rip currents and you can easily save these via the GPS.
At high tide you are the only one who can fish these tip spots, simply set your GPS to a pre-selected point, let the boat sail and once arrived at the point it will unlock your hook release system if desired and even automatically return to the selected home point. Of course you will have to adjust that point regularly (you know the ebb and flow 😉 )
But not only the distance you can fish is important, also how you present the bait and with this boat the presentation is always optimal, you will never throw off your expensive worms while casting and fishing with large bait chunks (mackerel and the like) is now also possible.
You see, plenty of possibilities with this N8, agreed, not everyone wants to carry extra material but if you are willing to make that effort, then new opportunities are waiting for you....just tie on the bait line and sail away!
PS: the orange ball on top of the boat is equipped with a light so that you can also follow your boat in the evening or at night.
